5 Questions to Ann from Filou & Friends Antwerp
Filou & Friends Antwerp is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and we are not letting that go unnoticed. For this festive occasion, we put five questions to Ann. Curious about what she has to say? Then be sure to read on!
1. Whois Ann?
"I am Ann, a mum of 2 daughters Freya and Elien. In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks, eating out, doing puzzles and reading. Although I do that too little."
2. Which moment will you never forget?
"My 1st working day. Lots of nerves, stress, I even remember what I was wearing that day! But my colleagues made sure all that stress was unnecessary. I will also never forget the 1st sales day. Long queues both outside and inside. Customers had to queue at the till for more than 1h."
3. What is your favourite piece from the collection?
"The fur body warmers for the girls in pink and turquoise. Can be paired with trousers, skirts and dresses alike. Is a MUST HAVE in your wardrobe."
4. What's the best thing about the job?
"The best thing about my job is the spontaneity and playfulness of the children, you can't help but get HAPPY. Helping and giving advice to choose the right outfits also makes me feel good every time. Also the parents who are enthusiastic and grateful for the help. I love my job!"
5. Tell us a fun fact
"February 6, 2023 I became proud granny to a little princess.... Yara. And on 6 February 2003 (more than 21y ago now!) was my very first working day at Filou & Friends. A date to never forget."
